Bust out Krig.  Waiting for others to finish their game of Magic the Gatherin?  Crush a game of Krig.  Heck, this might even make for a great minigame to include in your D&D campaign.   OBJECTIVE OF NAPOLEON’S SQUARE:   Build eight foundation piles from Ace to King PLAYERS:  1 player CARD COUNT:  104 cards CARD RANK:  (low) Ace – King (high) GAME TYPE:  Solitaire Game AUDIENCE:  Adults INTRODUCTION OF NAPOLEON’S SQUARE Napoleon’s Square is a double deck solitaire game.  Although the player does not begin the game with the foundation piles started, there is still a high chance of completing the game.  Players will work through the draw pile, build up the tableau, and move cards to the eight foundation piles whenever possible.  With a keen eye and a little luck, the game will be won.   OBJECTIVE OF BLACK MARIAH:   regular font NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  4 players NUMBER OF CARDS:  52 cards RANK OF CARDS:  (low) 2 – Ace (high) TYPE OF GAME:  Trick taking AUDIENCE:  Adults INTRODUCTION OF PETRONE’S BLACK MARIAH Petrone’s Black Mariah is a trick taker for four players created by Ren Petrone and inspired by the Black Maria variation of Hearts.  In this game, Hearts act as a trump suit and do not cost the player points.  Also, the main objective of this game is to capture as many clean tricks as possible.  The Ace, King and Queen of Spades is to be avoided. HELENA:   Build all eight foundations based on suit PLAYERS:  1 player CARDS:  104 cards CARD RANK:  (low) Aces – Kings (high) GAME TYPE:  Solitaire AUDIENCE:  Adults THE CARDS & THE DEAL  St. Helena uses two 52 card decks.  Remove one Ace and one King for each suit from the deck.  Create two rows with them – one row of Aces and one row of Kings.  These two rows contain the foundation piles.   The objective of the game will be to build the Ace foundations up to Kings and the King foundations down to Aces according to suit. TYPE OF GAME:  Beating Card Game AUDIENCE:  Adult OVERVIEW OF PÖYTÄPASKA Pöytäpaska is a beating card game for 2 to 3 players. The goal of the game is not to be the last player to hold cards. This player is declared the loser.
