OBJECT OF DA BAI FEN:  The object of Da Bai Fen is to be the first team to score above rank Ace. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  4 players MATERIALS:  A standard 52-card deck plus a red and black joker, a way to keep score, and a flat surface. The players will split into two teams of two sitting opposite of their partner. The goal of the game is to increase your score through the card rankings above the rank of ace. Teams do this by winning tricks through several hands to score points. The winners of each round may score points dependent on their final score.  SETUP AND TRUMPS The dealer of the first round is random but will be determined by the scores for future rounds. The goal of the game is to be the first player to empty their hand of all cards. Players do this by playing out combinations of cards.   DEMOCRACY OBJECT OF DEMOCRACY:  The object of Democracy is to score the needed number of points first.  NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  2 to 6 players MATERIALS:  A modified 52 card deck and up to two jokers, a way to keep score, and a flat surface. TYPE OF GAME:  Trick-Taking Card Game AUDIENCE:  All Ages OVERVIEW OF DEMOCRACY Democracy is a 2 to 6 player trick-taking game. It differs from other trick-taking games though, because you play your cards to tricks facedown. The goal of the game is to score the needed amount of points to win first. This is usually 5 to 10 points and will be determined before the game begins. It’s similar to many other trick-taking games, otherwise. DOBBM OBJECT OF DOBBM:  The object of Dobbm is to score the needed number of points first.  NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  4 or 5 players MATERIALS:  A 36 Tell Card deck, coins or chips for payouts, and a flat surface. TYPE OF GAME:  Trick-Taking Card Game AUDIENCE:  Adult  OVERVIEW OF DOBBM Dobbm is a bidding style trick-taking card game meant for 4 or 5 players. In a 5-player game, the dealer will sit out each round of play so there are only 4 active players at a time. Booce Ball was developed in Italy, while Pétanque originated in France; but, both are widely played in Europe, and to a lesser degree in North America and Australia.
